Kiryat Tzans in Netanaya is celebrating an unusual and exciting Simcha, the birth of quadruplets to one of their Chassidim.
The 4 new additions to the Levi family are 3 boys and 1 girl, all B”H sound and well. They join their older brother who is 2 and a half years old.
The quadruplets were born to the Avreich R’ Chaim Halevi, son in law of R’Shimon Sher, one of the prominent askanim in Kiryat Tzans.
The Shalom Zachor was held this past Shabbos at the Rebbes Tish in Kiryat Tzans in Netanyah. The Kiddush for the girl took place Shabbos morning, also in Kiryat Tzans.
The birth of quadruplets is a very rare occurrence, but in last few years quite a few instances have been reported in Israel. This past January a couple from Bnei Brak, Nadvorner Chassidim, also gave birth to quadruplets in Tel Hashomer hospital.
As well, in February of 2016 Rambam hospital in Haifa also reported the birth of Quadruplets in its maternity ward. Prior to that, the last time it was reported in Israel was in 1988.
According to medical statistics the chance of a woman giving birth to quadruplets, is 1 out of 750,000.
