Arab Women Uses Baby To Conceal Illegal Ammunition

Israel police and ‘MAGAV’ units are continuing to crack down on illegal arms throughout Yehudah and Shomron, including in the city of Chevron which is under the jurisdiction of the ‘Yehuda brigade’.

‘MAGAV’ police officers together with IDF forces arrived at a home in chevron las night in search of illegal arms. The forces came upon a couple in their thirties, presumably the owners of the home who claimed they had nothing illegal in the house.

During the search, the man kept telling the forces that he has no illegal arms, and all that he has is a small amount of marijuana which he handed over to the forces.
After confiscating the drugs, the forces realized that the woman was holding her baby in a very suspicious manor. When asked to put the child down, the woman refused on the basis that her child is ill and needs to be held all the time.

The suspicious answer encouraged the forces that they were on to something and they relentlessly insisted that the women put the baby down. Realizing that she has no choice and will either way be caught, the women removed from under her shirt a pistol which she was concealing behind the baby she was holding.

The forces also discovered 2 cartridges, and over 200 mm bullets in one of the bedrooms.

The forces detained both parents and transferred them for further questioning
For many months now, Israel police have been combating and trying to curtail the illegal possession of fire arms in the Arb sector. Aside from the concern that these arms can end up in the hands of criminals, there is great worry that they will be used to carry out terror attacks against Jews, as has already happened in the past.
