Moment Before Trumps Arrival: Joint Airforce Training

An anticipation of President Trumps upcoming visit to Israel, the Israeli and American air forces held joint exercises last Thursday. The exercises were mainly held in the south of the country, and included over 30 aircraft. Pilots Practiced various complex scenarios, including engaging advanced defense and weapons systems, and destroying ground targets.

The exercise was part of the ongoing joint military cooperation between the Israeli and American air forces, and its purpose was to strengthen the connection between the two air forces; and increase the quality and level of training.

“The quality and complexity of the training gets profounder every year” said a high ranking Israeli Airforce official.

Commenting on the success of the training the official said, “The complex training, both in security and intelligence, was completed successfully and safely”.

The official also emphasized the need for these exercises. “In a changing environment, and because of the dynamic challenges surrounding us- the arena also changes. The need to respond fast makes this exercise vital, and it provides a significant answer to these factors. This way we learn one from one another, it’s a great opportunity”, said the official.
