A prominent Christian Priest from Nigeria by the name of T.B. Joshua, visited Israel last month to scout a location for his world center which he intends to move to Israel.

According to head of the ‘Emek Hayarden’ regional council, Idan Greenboum, the priest does not lack funds, and he intends to relocate his world headquarters to the shores of the Kineret; and bring masses of his believers to the region “on an air train”.

In 2011, Forbes ranked the priest with a net worth of $10-$15 million. He also has a half million people subscribed to his You Tube channel, and 2.5 million fans on Facebook.

To understand the magnitude of the danger, it should be noted that according to media sources, 60% of Nigeria’s foreign tourists are devout Christians who visit the country for the purpose of meeting the priest and have him banish demons.

Upon discovering the priest’s intentions to migrate from Nigeria, the Nigerian government met for an emergency hearing and called on the priest to change his mind, since a large part of the African country’s tourist industry is at stake.

According to the plan, the priest will first rent a few structures in the towns of Ayn Gav, and Beis Gavriel, which are located at the southern edge of the Kineret. At a later stage, the priest will either purchase or construct a huge world center off the shores of the Kineret.

The Nigerian priest already visited the area with his aids last month, together they scouted a few locations from up close which can be appropriate for his plans.

Unfortunately, there are reports that during his recent visit to Israel, Jews came to him in search of healings and miracles.

The famous anti-missionary organization Yad Le’achim, were horrified to discover the priest’s intentions, and immediately dispatched a string of urgent letters to government ministers and public activists. The letters warn that, “this priest is very wealthy and has hundreds of thousands of Christian followers. Without a doubt, his establishing himself in Israel as one that brings ‘healings and miracles’, will bring a wave of Jewish followers. In turn, this will chas veshalom create fertile ground for large scale missionary activities”.

The organization ends the letter with a request that permission not be granted for this dangerous priest do stay in Israel.
