Shocking Pogrom In Uman: “They Almost Killed Me”

Pogrom in Uman: A group of hooligans broke into the tzion of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov last night, harassing and spraying the few misspalelem that were there. They then went on to desecrate the tzion and poured red paint all over the walls and floor. Not satisfied with that, they also placed pig parts on the tables.

The group of hooligans are assumed to be locals living in the area.



A Breslover chassid who was at the tsion last night, shared details of the incident with “Bechadrei Chareidim”. “The relationship with the locals has been deteriorating lately. There have been many more cases of harassment and bullying against Jews.

What happened yesterday was shocking, an actual pogrom. They hit people and through pieces of pig all over the tsion. If I would have dared object and fight back, they would have killed me. It was a miracle that it was not worse, and if something will not be done, the worst will still happen here”.

A cleaning crew has been brought in this morning to clean and remove the vandalism.
Local police have opened an investigation and placed a security presence at the tsion.
