A government source said that a few people that have a possible connection to the explosion were brought into custody.

Officials told the Associated Press that at least five men got interviewed. The FBI said in a statement that no one was indicted for any crime, and the investigation is continuing.

The FBI had also begun a bust in building in Elizabeth, New Jersey Monday morning, following the uncovering of five suspicious devices.
One device exploded and injured 29 people in the Chelsea, New York City on Saturday.

Authorities haven't yet formally connected the New York and New Jersey events, however, they were looking into a possible connection.

The latest information came after a backpack containing multiple bombs was found Sunday night near an Elizabeth, New Jersey, train station, according to the FBI and the city's mayor.

New Yorkers will notice increased police presence throughout the city, de Blasio said. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo added that 1,000 additional New York State Police officers and National Guard troops would be stationed to guard bus terminals, airports and subway stations. "I want New Yorkers to be confident when they go back to work on Monday that New York is up and running, and we're doing everything that we need to do," he said.
