An awful tragedy in Monsey, New York: A yeshiva Bochur was killed in a car accident last night (Thursday) and his friend was critically injured. According to the reports brought to B’hadrei Haredim, the two Yeshiva Bochurim, not American residents, stood on the sidewalk, when a car driving by lost control, went off the road and hit the boys.

Rockland County Hatzola forces arrived at the scene and applied first aid. The two were evacuated to the hospital and after much effort on the doctors' part, one of the boys was Niftar and the second was hospitalized in critical condition yet stabilized.

The boy who was Niftar is a resident of Argentina, a Talmid in the Yeshiva Tiferes HaTorah in Monsey. B’Chadrei Chareidim has discovered that the driver in the accident was an off-duty cop, the police are initiating an investigation.

Everyone is asked to daven for the Refua of David Yosef Ben Leah, who needs much Rachamei Shamayim.
