An infant fell from the 4th floor of an apartment building. Rescue forces granted infant with primary health care and then rushed him to the hospital in serious condition

Rescue forces were called last night (Monday) to Sulam Yakov Street in Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem following a call about a year and a half old infant that fell from a 4th floor.

Rescue teams gave primary care at the scene and then rushed the child to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in serious condition.

MADA said: "At 19:41 a baby fell from a height of about 4-storey building on Sulam Yakov street. MADA paramedics provided medical care and took him to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in critical condition with head and multi-system injuries, sedated and on a respirator. "

Hatzala said: "Toddler fell from the balcony of his house in Jerusalem. Hatzala volunteers gave him first life-saving care ".

Talia Unger, from MADA emergency team : "We saw an infant partly conscious after falling from a height of 4 floors onto a stone floor, we gave primary life-saving care.

Paramedic Eyal Ben-Yosef from the mobile intensive care unit of MADA said: "We received the child as he dazed and suffering from head trauma. While evacuating to the hospital accompanied by a family member, we provided life-saving medical care involving anesthesia and respiration".

Police launched an investigation into the incident.
