Rabbeinu Tam Tefillin, purchased at an auction held at a local market in Orlando - and were offered for sale on eBay.
As it became known "Bechadrei Charedim" the case was exposed when eBay offered a pair of Tefillin for sale. Reb' Itche Wein from New York saw the strangest eBay offer and decided to follow Tefillin.
Wein said he began corresponding with the seller that turned out to be a none Jew who lives in Orlando, Florida. The seller said he bought the Tefillin at an auction a few months ago. The auction was held by the administration of Orlando airport, all the items sold were items that have been forgotten in the airport in the past two years
The seller said he bought a pair of Tefillin among many other things at the auction. When he decided to sell the Tefillin he Googled and found that the "strange black boxes" he got for very cheap are worth a lot of money because of its religious every day use and value to Jewish law.
Reb' Itche Wein decided to buy to buy them. The tTfillin were found in no bag clue to the owner Tefillin, but it's Tefillin of Rabbeinu Tam someone apparently forgot at the airport around Pesach time.
