A Sefer Torah was donated to Israeli army base in of French terror victims.

Sefer Torah Leiloy Nishmas "HyperCacher" terror victims

Today (Wednesday) was a Hachnasas Sefer Torah in the "Lipkin" paratroop division army base in loving memory of terror victims. The Sefer Torah was donated by the founder of "HyperCacher" grocery store in France, where the terror attack took place.

Hundreds of soldiers and many others attended, including families of the four victims of terrorist attack in "HyperCacher" and the donor's family.

During the Hachnasas Sefer Torah headed by Central Command Lieutenant Colonel Rabbi, Yitzhak Levy, the audience Davened Leiloy Nishama of the attack victims. Major General Yoram Yair (Ya-Ya), a family representative and a French-speaking officer serving in the "Lipkin" base spoke as well.

The officer greeted the families in French, saying: "Dear guests, thankfully, I visited France, Nice, Paris, Monaco and Leon. I am proud to serve in the Israeli army and take part in protecting the state of Israel and its citizens.
I would like to thank you for your partnership and warm embrace. Im making a toast to the State of Israel, people of Israel, Jews abroad and the Israel Defense Forces."
