Will the arrest of suspect of assaulting a minor be extended

The Tel Aviv district attorney extended the detention of David Avi-Rosh, 22, from Bnei Brak who was arrested Thursday night on the grounds of assaulting a 7-year-old girl in a toy store.

The suspect's lawyer, Attorney Moshe Morgenstern, agreed to the arrest of David Avi-Rosh until Wednesday, and by that date, a prosecutor Declaration shall be filed toward an indictment.

Judge Yaron Gat noted that the review of the investigation material shows that "there is a reasonable suspicion against Avi-Rosh", adding that since remand on Friday a number of investigative actions strengthened the reasonable doubt.

Judge granted the request of the lawyer and remanded the David Avi-Rosh until Wednesday at 12:00.

background:
Security camera records, showing the face of the attacker, were posted Thursday on Channel 2 tv. A few hours later, during the night, police came to the home of the suspect in Pardes Katz neighborhood (Bnei Brak) and arrested him.

The suspect was interrogated by police and he was brought to court - where he was remanded until today at the request of the police. As noted, the court again extended his detention until Wednesday, when the lawyer seeks a declaration by the prosecutor.
