The conservative movement list's its communities on its website. It lists 72 active communities throughout Israel-however 20% of these communities gather only once a year during the holidays. It is not accurate to consider a group that gathers once a year as an "active community".
There are 14 conservative communities in Israel and 50 Reform communities, 20% of each gather only for the Holidays.
Mekaz L'iba states that, "the power of Reform Judaism in Israel does not come from the Jewish Nation's identifying with the Reform movement's perspective. Rather it is due to the large amounts of money that are contributed to Israel via the Reform movement in America, through which they are trying to make social changes in the Israeli community."
