Harav Bentzion Kook Visited Lakewood
Harav Bentzion Kook, Rosh Beis Horaah Haklali of Yerushalyim visited Lakewood.

Harav Bentzion Kook flew to America for the wedding of a talmid. While there he obliged the community leaders and gave shiurim and sichos in Batei Medresh in 8 cities and 3 different states.
BMG of Lakewood took advantage of the opportunity to have Harav Kook speak in honor of the fourth yahrzeit of his Rav, Harav Elyashiv zt"l.
At the end of the shiur he was asked by one of the avreichim if one makes the Bracha,"Hanasan Mchvodo Lbasar V'dam" on President Obama. The rav answered in the name of Harav Elyashiv that Obama lacks the shiur of a melech since as President of America he is not permitted to kill someone. The rav said that perhaps there is an inyan to see the president eventhought one cannot make the bracha.
