Cockpit voice recorder shows that pilots aboard the flight that crashed into the Mediterranean in May were forced to fight a fire.

The cockpit flight recorder reveals evidence of smoke in the cabin. Some of the wreckage that was recovered also showed signs of both soot and high temperature damage.
The black box recorders backup the automated electronic messages sent out by the plane showing that smoke detectors went off in the restroom and in the avionics area below the cockpit just before the plane disappeared.
Investigators have not ruled out terrorism since such catastrophic fires are rare on passenger planes.
All 66 people aboard the plane died when flight MS804 from Paris to Cairo crashed on May 19.
