This past winter 30 year old Michal Froman was stabbed by an 18 year old terrorist in Tekoa. Michal, who was pregnant at the time was moderately wounded.
This past Shabbos she gave birth her fifth daughter.
In an interview with the Woman's Lobby of Bechadrey Charedim Michals' husband tells of the great miracles they experienced with the birth of their new daughter.
"'Moshe approached the fog, because Hashem was there.' The greatest revelations of Hashem, of the wonder in our lives, sometimes are found in darkened cloudy places. Birth, life that is formed from difficulty and "mashber" is a strong example. In certain ways – so was this terror attack.
"Great gifts for our life were hidden specifically in this terrible moment. We thank Hashem for the honey and the sting, and for the honey within the sting. Certainly in this birth and perhaps in the terror attack as well. A Jew believes, knows to direct his gaze into the challenge and search for G-d there. He tries to understand what it is that Hashem wants of us.
"The birth today was a great ending to the journey that Hashem brought us through. We hope that the way he lead us upon this journey sanctified His Name. We feel a great victory today of light over darkness, of life over death."
