The Cannabis Reform was approved by the Government

The government approved the bill for the reform of distribution options of medical marihuana. The proposal is meant to first and foremost ensure that the products will be processed under supervision and quality assurance, but that they will also be sold in pharmacies like all other medications.

The ministry of health will continue to widen the circle of those permitted to dispense medical marihuana in order to improve the service to those who need it.
Health Minister Yakov Litzman said," The government decided upon an important reform today…that will due justice with the thousands of ill people that need medical marihuana for medical purposes only. There is no reason why such people must suffer through trying bureaucracy.... Do not make a mistake I am opposed to the legalization if marihuana, along with the easy of bureaucracy for the purchase of medical marihuana we will increase supervision halting the possibility of legalization …"
