Four Injured by Fire in the Shita Prison
One prisoner was seriously injured and a guard and two other cell mates were treated for smoke inhalation.

The fire began around midnight, and was extinguished by prison guards who first pulled the prisoners to safety.
All four injured parties: the seriously injured inmate, the guard and the other two cell mates were taken to the Emek Medical Center in Afula.
Channel 2 reported that the fire began when one prisoner tried to set his cell mate on fire.
The prisoners are all residents of the West Bank serving time for crimes such as robbery and property crimes.
