Good news from Yemen: Harav Yechie Ben Yosef was released from prison before Shavous. Two others are still in prison at this time in response to the claim of the government that the ancient Torah Scroll that the last wave of Jews who emigrated to Israel brought with them belongs to Yemen.
MK Iyov Karah, who reported the Rav's release is hopeful that the other two Jews in prision will also soon be relased.
At this time there are about 45 Jews remaining in Yemen. 15 in Raida and 30 in Saana. It is hoped that they will all make aliyah soon.
