Harav Lasri's Son Died on Shavous
Shimon Yochai Lasri died over Yom Tov at the Barzilai hospital in Ashkelon.

Shimon Yochai Lasri, the 20 year old son of Harav Michael Lasri was taken to the hospital Friday after a near drowning incident. The Bachur was resuscitated by MDA EMT's after being rescued from the sea Friday. Doctors tried valiantly to stabilize him and save his life, but unfortunately he passed away over Shavous.
The Levaya will be held at midnight tonight at the home of his parents, Chazon Ish 68 Bnei Brak.
His father is one of the leading kiruv personalities of our generation.
