Cleared for publication: kidnapping and murdering of Abu Khader • view

Today (Monday) cleared for publication by the Petah Tikva Magistrate that detectives and investigators main unit of the Jerusalem District Police in conjunction withj Security Agency arrested on 5th Tammuz Jewish suspecta, including 3 minors, suspected of kidnapping and murdering the boy Mohammed Abu Khader from Shuafat - two weeks ago. Arrest has been extended to Friday, 7.18, then shall be filed in the case.

The investigation revealed that there are three directly involved in the abduction and murder, three admitted and reconstructed the event. Also shows that the day before the event, two of the suspects decided to attack an Arab boy and when they found the child in Shu'afat attacked him and fled. The court did not allow publishing the details of the suspects.

Investigation revealed that on Wednesday Tamuz at 4:08 am 100 center received a report of the Jerusalem police on suspicion of kidnapping in Shu'afat. All officers and command Jerusalem police were sent forward to the event were set up roadblocks and began scanning for suspects and a vehicle according to the description given in the field. Commander of the Jerusalem Police Chief Yosef Print ordered the establishment of a special investigation team (SIT) Jerusalem District's Central Unit in cooperation with Shin Bet investigation of the incident and criminal nationalistic aspect. Additionally, the Jerusalem Central Unit investigators have established two sub-teams squad questioning when one examined the Criminal direction and the other examined the nationalist direction.

Investigation included, inter alia, scanning public and private cameras along escape route documented the abduction, some of which have documented some of the suspects as they chatted and then put Abu Khader into their car and fleeing the scene. Also, the cameras did not get the license number and vehicle color, nor helped to identify the suspects.

However, investigative and intelligence activities of the Central Unit investigators and interrogators led to the identification of the vehicle used by the suspects and located on Shabbat Parashat Balak in a village near Jerusalem.

Immediately on Saturday night, CPU police and ISA 6 arrested suspects (3 adults and 3 minors, residents of Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh). Remand extended by the Peace Court in Petah Tikva in eight days.

During the investigation it became clear that only three of them are directly involved. The three suspects are members of a family, an adult 29 years old living in the locality near Jerusalem, Jerusalem 17 year old minor and a minor about 17 from Beit Shemesh. The investigation also revealed that the night before the murder of two of the suspects (adult and minor) reached the neighborhood of Beit Hanina in order to attack or kidnap an Arab boy, around the block, which is located about an hour to an Arab minor, assaulted him and fled. On Wednesday Wednesday three suspects made a group decision to kidnap and murder an Arab. They searched the victim several Arab neighborhoods in East Jerusalem and finally came to Shuafat, and when they saw the boy Mohammed Abu Khader by himself, grabbed him, put him in their car by force, beat, and stunned him, led him to Jerusalem forest, where they threw him out of their vehicle, poured on him flammable material ignited him and fled the scene.

The three suspects admitted to the charges and reconstructed the events. They noted that the acts were carried out against the kidnapping and killing of three Jewish boys, Naftali Frenkel, Eyal Yifrach and Gilad Shaer hy"d.

Search carried out in their homes, located mobile phone belonging to Muhammad Abu Khader at the home of one of the suspects, were also found in many forensic evidence linking the suspects to the event.

Investigation of three other suspects (two adults and minor) it became clear that they were not directly active in the abduction and murder but only knew about it after the fact. After testing and verifying the involvement event - it was decided by the CPU and the GSS investigators to release them under restrictive conditions through the courts last Thursday.

Today (Monday) was filed against the three key suspects before the Petah Tikva Magistrate Declaration demands for offenses of murder, kidnapping to murder, arson, attempted arson and these entire racist- nationalist motive.
