Associates of Hgr"s Cohen learned that Hgrs"m Amar is at the event, so they delayed the Hgr"s about 20 minutes in his car. Only after being updated that Hgrs"m Amar left, they agreed to allow Hgr"s Cohen to leave the car to participate in the Sheva Brachos.
Note that the last time the two great men of Israel were together - it was the shloshim of Harav Ovadia Yosef zt"l.
