Rishon Lezion to Putin: "Help us against Hamas'

Rishon Lezion Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef met today (Wednesday), with Russian President Vladimir Putin and asked for his help in the fight against terrorism. "Freedom of religion is not freedom of religion to massacre innocent people" Rabbi Yosef said.

Rishon Lezion is a visitor to Moscow and during a meeting with Russian President said: "I went out this morning from Israel when the neighborhood adjacent to mine heard the sound of explosions missiles when my children, my grandchildren and my family have experienced moments of anxiety, despite all this I left everything and came here to ask the President to take action and fight this use of terror in the name of religion.

The Rishon Lezion added and spoke with President Putin and thanked him for the release of the treasures of Jewish books by Chabad Hasidism and strengthened him in his struggle against anti-Semitism.

President Putin asked the honorable Rabbi Yosef to deliver a message to Prime Minister Netanyahu that he is a true friend of Israel and a true friend of his and that he follows closely and with interest the events in Israel and supports its struggle for protecting the safety of its citizens.
