יהודה פרקוביץ

Special condolence visit held this morning at the Yifrach home Elad, the mayor of Elad Yisrael Porush came along with the grandson and faithful servant of Maran Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, Rabbi Yaakov Yisrael Kanievsky, who brought with him a letter of condolence from his grandfather Hgr"ch Kanievsky. Rabbi Menachem Havlin who is close to the Rabbi also joined.

The letter, written in his own handwriting and addressed for the three bereaved families Yifrach, Frankel and Shaer, Hgr"ch writes- "for the loss of your children dying as martyrs, it was their privilege to to have strengthened by them thousands of Jews to worship God."

Rabbi Chaim further wrote: "May it be Hashem's will that there will be an end to our sorrows and comforting within Zion and Jerusalem."

Recall a few days ago during a reception at Hgr"ch's homes, one of the visitors asked to know how to comfort the families. Hgr"ch replied and said: "Tell them that their children are Harugei Malchut and no one can stand with them."

Besides, immediately after learning that the bodies of the boys were found Hgr"ch expressed and said: "They had a very great privilege that thousands of Jews were strengthened in commandments because of them," He added that "the prayers were not in vain - they are a merit to their soul."
