Recording revealed: "kidnapped me", "Head Down", "Hello"

19 days after the abduction and murder of three yeshiva students, the phone call to SJ District Police leaked to the network, which reported the kidnapping.

Call distributed across the whatsapp app network, is only part of the full conversation that lasts for two minutes and nine seconds.

Following the publication on the network, publication of the recording was allowed.



Call lasted 2:09 minutes, was answered by policeman, after a few seconds handed over the call to the attendant, who listened to the conversation with the foreman.

The call was received at 22:25 on Thursday night, June 12, 2014, in Gush Etzion. Gilad Shaer hy"d made the call.

During the call, the manager tried redialing the phone number twice, and of course she heard the sound of call waiting. Upon disconnecting the call the dispatcher tried to call 8 times, twice there was no answer, and 5 times it was busy, and the last time the phone was no longer available.

During the call, the terrorist is heard shouting "Head down" several times in Hebrew-accented Arabic. Somehow, although the recording can be heard clearly the voice of Gilad hy"d which says quite clearly "kidnapped me", the police failed to understand it.

According to estimates, gunshots heard in the background, were fatal. It is also possible that the conversation disrupted the plans of kidnappers, causing them to kill them instead, and leave them in the open field - where they were detected yesterday.
