Since three youths were kidnapped, many voices were heard by Gedolei Yisrael to pray for the rescue soon. For some reason, the voice of the Eideh Haredi is silent.
Last week, it was Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch, Rab"d of the Eideh Haredi, who spoke about this at the weekly sermon to yeshiva students under his presidency. Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch also criticized the Zionist army, that they could not do anything, unless it is the will of heaventhat they return home soon.
"Recently," Hagaon Rabbi Moshe said, "three men were captured by the Ishmaelites, and we must learn from it that salvation comes only from Above, and we may not hang the salvation into the army forces of the Zionists, they always talk about the size of heroism. And now, here God shows for all to see that power is going to the divine decree, as well as when with Hashem's we find them quickly, we must know that this is the will of God who said enough to our troubles, and help comes from Above and no politics but everything is God's will, and we have no objections to the ways of the secret, but we need to strengthen it and see that there is no case in hand and everything depends on God, and as long as God does not say enough trouble, it does not help all the bravery of the army, and when God will say enough trouble, immediate salvation will come."
Concerning the Zionists, Hagaon Rabbi Moshe changed the subject, about the ultra-Orthodox institutions for their support: "There is a story when the Brisker Rav was in Switzerland, the Zionists appeal was held there, and they agreed that in order to succeed in collecting money as Haredim do twenty agreement that a certain percent of the money will be for the Haredim, and will give the money to the Committee of the Orthodox to distribute the money.
"The committee members went to Hgry"z and offered him they wanted to pay him the expenses of the yeshiva the way through, and remove him completely the concerns of the burden of financing of the yeshiva, and told him that they did not require him to any change in the leadership, and indeed they could be even Neturei Karta, and what it will require they will do.
"Hgry"z said, its true that all I require from you I will get and do, but I'm afraid I'm not going to sue you from all that bribe blinds the eyes of the wise, and by touching the money and spacing big lifted off entirely the yoke expenses of the yeshiva, I do not see the truth and I will demand of you what needs to sue, and we bribe blinds and do not see the truth and for geniuses and saints.
Hagaon Rabbi Moshe also noted the significance of each step, as well as the smallest, could cause loss of human in the world: "Even great men can lose their world by a small act, and those who think sometimes today I learned so much, and certainly not God shall take care of me if I do now a minor offense, but this is a mistake, even with great people, have little meaning to the event and as we have explained, as well as our sages said, and declares to man what his interlocutor, even redundant conversation between husband and wife tendons a person in death.
"And I remember I was with Hagaon Abramsky zt"l, and an ultra-Orthodox looking man came in who served as a pilot in the Air Force, and told Hgr"y Abramsky zt"l that every day he is bombing the Germans and saves a lot of danger to life, and Hagaon Abramsky asked him what about his Yiddishkeit, and he said I pray every day, and make it a point to eat only kosher food, but on Saturday I have to violate the Sabbath that send me in the Air Force to bomb the Germans, adding more and said, 'I tell you the truth, sometimes I smoke on Saturday - after God sees what I give my soul to the people of Israel every day, God certainly give me smoking a cigarette on Saturday sometimes.
" Hagaon Abramsky zt"l answered and said to him, 'When will exceed the upper world you will find two books, one book whose rights will be written rights and as you outlined your rights you saves souls, and the second book will be written to you desecrate Shabbat, and we do not detract rights duties, and in God there are two separate accounts on each, also the rights and obligations ".
