Whatsapp accident: name of the deceased, ran in Groups

Shocking accident occurred early morning on Route 1, which killed Rabbi Yosef Yehuda Avraham Vind, 31, a resident of Beit Shemesh, father of seven children, on his way back from the Belz wedding.

The accident occurred at about 5:40. About 10 minutes earlier, the deceased uploaded to the Whatsapp group more videos and pictures of the wedding and mitzvah tanz from the great Hasidic court he belongs to, Belz.

But about an hour after the accident, the names of the victims groups started to be released on the Whatsapp, without checking whether family members were updated on the death and injury of their loved one.

Father of the deceased Rabbi Aharon Vind, an important and frequent visitor to the Belz Rebbe was informed about the death of his son at about 7:00 by Belz Hasidism officials and organization for the needy.

At around 7:30, Rabbi Abraham Cap, Chairman of Ezrat Achim, stabilized at the deceased's home in Beit Shemesh, where he came along with neighbor Dayan Rabbi Aryeh Fink from the Belz community. The new widow was asleep at home with 9 year old son, and Rabbi Cap, the man who announces the ranks of this type in the Haredi community residents, informed the woman that her husband was injured in an accident. Just an hour later, before 9:00 she was reported the bad news that her husband had died.

Children of the deceased did not sleep at home, but with neighbors and friends, following the Chassidic wedding. Cap cared for them and along with the city officer and a social worker told the news to the other children.

Recall, this is not the first case of dead names published in the Whatsapp groups before it is made known to the family. In an accident last month on the valley road, Elhanan Avraham Touitou age 20 sfrom Sderot was killed. His brother Yisrael, learned about the death from the Whatsapp group in which he is a member.

On learning of the accident spread among the whatsapp Haredi community groups rumors that the dead person in the accident is a well known Rabbi, without bothering to find out whether this is true. Rabbi meanwhile slept in his house and did not know anything about the malicious rumor.
