After two months Fraud Squad - Lahav unit 433 ended, investigation case concerning suspected offenses obstructing justice and misleading testimony by former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and his attorney Navot Tel- Zur.
The investigation began two months ago and found that in recent years, during the investigation of Olmert and Zaken and prosecution framework of various affairs - Talansky, Rishon Tours and Holyland - Follow Ehud Olmert that Shula Zaken not gives evidence which could be used against him. Also, Olmert was suspected and Mr. Navot Tel Tzur performing maneuvers to discourage the elderly from signing a plea bargain in the Holyland affair and later Olmert worked to influence her testimony in court.
At the same time, during this period Zaken received favors from various sources at Olmert's request, in money and money equivalents.
Head of Investigation and Intelligence Division adopted the recommendations of the Fraud Squad and the investigation team that found the evidence against Mr. Ehud Olmert and against Mr. Navot Tel Tzur for their alleged crimes.
Investigation is now transferred to the Central District Prosecutor's Office, where he will be examined and decide whether to file charges.
