Boro Park: The children woke up and chased the intruder

25 year old man from Queens was arrested this morning (Wednesday), in Boro Park after a robbery committed in an ultra-Orthodox family home.

Intruder broke this morning to a house in Boro Park. Two children in the family woke up and discovered the intruder rummaging in their bedroom closets.

They broke into cries which woke their parents who slept in the next room.

The burglar escaped and parents called the Shomrim who called the police.

The resourceful children were able to describe accurately the sight of the intruder, and after scanning the area detected the intruder while hiding under a car in a nearby street, carrying a large plastic bag.

Search revealed valuables and children's clothing he managed to steal.

During interrogation the young man admitted that came into the house through the backyard door which was open. Queens's resident thief was arrested.
