Or Elhanan: successful resuscitation saved yeshiva student

Yeshiva student of Ohr Elchanan, who suffered an allergic reaction, probably, lost consciousness, and was taken after resuscitation to hospital

Yeshiva Ohr Elchanan student lost consciousness last night (Sunday) and was taken after successful resuscitation hospital.

Shortly before 21:00, Ichud Hatzala center received a report of an unconscious boy at Yeshiva Ohr Elchanan on Alkabetz street in Givat Shaul, apparently after an allergic reaction. The call center guided the caller how to perform CPR until the rescue teams arrive.

"The boy managed to ask for a syringe, and collapsed," said his friends. According to them, after not feeling well, he asked for the syringe and after getting it, he turned blue and lost consciousness.

After resuscitation by MDA and Ichud Hatzala drives, he was evacuated with a pulse to Shaarei Zedek Hospital in the city.

Yehudah Amitai, Hatzalah paramedic, told Behadrey Haredim that "after prolonged resuscitation of about 25 minutes the boy was taken by an Intensive Care Unit, while being anesthetized and ventilated with proper metrics to the hospital."
