The exposure by Behadrey Haredim before the start of the summer 'zman' that the large network of Kollelim Issachar Be'ohalecha is in an economic crisis, was resolved peacefully. Salaries for Avrechim will be deposited.
Despite the announcement of the closure of branches, they did not close in the end. The avreichim, whose lives are the four cubits of Torah and Halacha, continued to come in the hope everything will work out.
Rabbi Weissbord turned as usual to the President of the network, Hagaon R' Aharon Leib Steinman, and related the grave situation. R' Aharon Leib heard this and decided that the drastic solution - closing the network, is not desirable. He asked to deliver a message to all avreichim of the network that "one must continue to learn and with G-d's help there would be yeshuos. And certainly the decrease in Torah will not help to strengthen the Torah at all."
R' Aharon Leib also asked that children of the avreichim will daven, and these prayers will bring salvation.
The message was transmitted, and in a letter to all kollel students which was hung up in branches across the country, avreichim were asked to continue the voice of Torah and it filled the halls. In addition to this, despite the situation, quite a few requests for new learners who wished to join the network Issachar Be'ohalecha, arrived.
Alongside prayers, Rabbi Weisbord traveled to the U.S. where he saw great success beyond expectations and previous occasions where he returned empty-handed. No doubt, they say this morning in kollelim, that the prayers helped, and salaries will be deposited in the coming week.
In addition to Rabbi Weisbord's trip, the committee of friends of the Kollelim in the USA harnessed during long meetings, to help establish the continued existence and development of Kollelim in the future.
