Lev Tahor sect flees to Central America: Lev Tahor members decided to flee to Guatemala in small groups, as the media reports in Canada.

Apparently that the two families who fled to Guatemala in March, with their six children, were joined in the meantime by another 30 people who had secretly in small groups to the state, and get a visa for 90 days.

An Israeli wishes to remain anonymous, especially traveled to Guatemala to visit his sister who follows the cult, told the media that the Canadian community in Guatemala increased and it already numbers 30 people.

Under the plan, the entire community will flee to the country without arousing suspicion.

C., the Israeli, who resided in Canada and Guatemala for about a month, said that he first arrived in Canada and worked for a long time to get information on the whereabouts of his sister and her children.

The brother came to Guatemala and tried to call his sister, but he learned that the sect had confiscated her phone when she left for Guatemala.

"Before that my sister used to call every week a family in Israel," he said , "but since she left for Guatemala she broke off contact and we did not understand why."

Ultimately the cultists connected the brother to his sister by phone, but the brother demanded to come see her and her children and when she tried to avoid it, he warned that he would break into the apartment where she was.

Finally, mediated by sect members, he managed to visit. He was shocked to discover that his sister and her six children live in a remote village, in a filthy hut without running water or electricity.

"Every week the family receives a barrel of water and limited food supply for the week. The children seemed neglected and starved and covered with mosquito bites," he said , "They sleep on the dirt floor and only last week the cult bought 15 moldy mattresses which they distributed among those present."

By the shocking testimony of K., while he was in the remote village, a married a girl gave birth there since the hospital is two hours away from the village. The young girl gave birth to the baby on the filthy floor in the hovel where she lives.

He said he met the heads of Lev Tahor, including Yoel Weingarten, Meir Rosner and Ariel Goldman, and believes that they live in the country as well

Mendi Marcus - a former member of Lev Tahor, also says that he believes that his sister and her family moved to Guatemala secretly and an additional family of 12 also recently moved to the state.
