Beitar resident arrested on suspicion of involvement in several robberies of post office branch in Jerusalem.

Last Tuesday, a little after 13:00, the district police received a report about a man who came to the Post Office on Rabbi Akiva Street in Givah A Beitar Illit, and wrote a note, " This is a robbery ." Receptionist pressed the panic button, and the robber fled, when he could steal anything.

The next day, on Wednesday, the suspect made two more attempts, at the Post Office in South Jerusalem, also there came with a note "This is a robbery", but fled before robbing. Detectives performed extensive search to locate the suspect.

Later in the day the suspect committed a robbery Sunday, when he arrived with a note "This is a robbery" at the Post Office, and using pepper spray threatened the teller, who was frightened and gave him a large sum of money.

Yesterday (Saturday), after the intelligence operations of Moria Regional Police arrested the suspect, a 28 year resident of Betar Illit, a suspect in two robberies and two other robbery attempts. His detention was extended until the Tuesday.
