Police recommends: prosecute Hgr"a Yosef

National Fraud Unit - Lahav 433, ended the investigation of allegations against Hgr"a Yosef on charges of extortion and fraud and breach of trust, and the prosecution gave evidence along with a recommendation to indict.
Rabbi Avraham Yosef served as Rabbi of Holon in 1998, and also served as director of Kashrus in Ohr Yehuda municipality from 2008 to 2011.
The investigation began in 2012 following materials were transferred to the Attorney General State Comptroller's Office and the State Attorney's examination. During the investigation, many messages were collected and questioned under caution involving various and relevant documents which were seized.
