Boro Park: kidnapping ended well

Abduction in Boro Park: At noon on Shabbos, Hashomrim volunteers and police were alarmed to one of the busy areas in Boro Park after receiving a call about two children who were abducted.

As it turned out, a 4 year old girl and 3 year old boy were playing in the yard of their grandfather in Boro Park. When the family noticed their disappearance, they called the police who opened scans and sent a helicopter to the sky.

After two hours of searching and checking security cameras, one of the members of Hashomrim noticed the woman and children on 15th Avenue and 52nd Street , police were called to the scene and rescued the children from the woman.

The investigation revealed that the woman named Keren Cohen, an Israeli resident of the neighborhood, claimed she saw the children crying and so she offered to take them to the park.

The woman was arrested and accused of trespassing.
