The boys insulted R' Baruch - and punished by Heaven

Every year, Rabbi Baruch Shapira, Rosh Yeshiva Kol Torah for young students and leader of the organization, Lev L'Achim, speaks at Chanichei Hayeshivos Romema conference, which expanded upon the holiday.

During his words Hgr"b spoke and raised the necessity to strengthen and grow stronger in matters of a person to his friend. According to him, although not planned to talk about it when preparing the sermon, something was told to him about an hour before the holiday event, and he wants to share it with the crowd to stir up to where things come to.

"A year ago, at a wedding held in Tamir Jerusalem "began Hgr"b," a number of young men came and insulted me following the split in the Lithuanian street and my closeness to Maran Hgray"l Steinman." As it is known, Hgr"b is considered a close associate Maat the home of Hgray"l for decades, and as such has a close connection with the Governor Rabbi Shimon Glick. Hgr"b said that already then he warned the boys that they must ask for forgiveness, but they paid no attention to it.

About an hour before yom tov, those boys came and told me about troubles which have overcome them, one of them even told me he got married and is already getting divorced right after yom tov."

Rabbi Shapira continued and said that many years ago he was sent by someone who insulted Harav Shach to ask for his forgiveness. Harav Shach answered him that he wasn’t insulted and therefore must forgive them and told the boys he forgives them wholeheartedly and hopes their troubles will pass.
