Yesterday (Sunday) a Hachnasas Sefer Torah was held at the Beit Midrash of Chanichei Yeshivas Chevron, in Petach Tikva (city center) , attended by hundreds of people of all denominations.
Then there was a festive meal, with about 200 men of the community members and families of donors. Meal took part members of the ultra-Orthodox public in the city, led by Rabbi Menachem Schwartz, director of the Religious Culture in the city, which is constantly alongside members of the community who use it a lot, especially recently , that narrow place not contain the general public \ and the need arose to start a real building - to be able to absorb all the many members .
Rabbi David Cohen took a part in the meal, head of the Chevron Yeshiva Givat Mordechai and member Council of Torah Sages, who spoke about the special relationship that he has to the city, and the great need there for the establishment of the synagogue and study which will gather around together all the yeshiva graduates who choose to establish their residence in the city - to continue to follow tradition of the yeshiva.
