Courier administration: Ukrainian regime is not anti-Semitic

Following the growing anti-Semitic attacks in Ukraine since the Revolution the rabbis of Agudath Yisrael of America held a conference call with administration envoy to Russia, to catch up with the anti-Semitism in the country.

Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zweibel, executive vice president of Agudath Yisrael of America, organized a conference call with the U.S. administration envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism, Ira Forman, Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Yaakov Bleich, to update the state leaders of Agudath Yisrael of anti-Semitism following the explosive situation in Ukraine.

Envoy Mr. Foreman was indignant in his words the fact that the Russian government's claims that the government supports anti-Semitism in Ukraine - general media were presented as a fait accompli, and Orthodox Jewish media related to things .

"I came to Israel Association a few weeks ago after the Jewish weekly forward quoted and recorded comments about other Jewish media throughout the country. Quotations distorted my position and distorted the actual reality," said Foreman. "So, given the importance of this organization the American Jewish community and the ability of the organization as a leader in opinion polls, it was particularly useful to have this update."

Recall, since the riots in Ukraine there was an increased incidence of anti-Semitism, including graffiti on Jewish public institutions, stabbings of Jews, throwing Molotov cocktails and many violent events. Last month Israeli Knesset held a special session attended by community representatives and local human rights organizations. As stated, the conference call conducted by the Association of Israeli government envoy clarified that the allegations that the government of Ukraine is the sole blame for backing anti-Semitism – are both distortion of the actual reality of the field.
