Congratulations: Aryeh Deri was crowned for Rabbinate - in Yated Ne'eman

First time in years: Lithuanian journal Yated Ne'eman this morning (Sunday), added the title 'Rabbi' to the name of Aryeh Deri. So too another member of his faction won this honor.

Readers were surprised this morning Yated Ne'eman published about the board meeting in Beit Shemesh, that Shas chairman Aryeh Deri was crowned the title "Rabbi", like MK Avraham Michaeli .

This title so far was won only by MKs of Degel HaTorah and Agudat Yisrael.

It is likely that these two did not receive rabbinate ordination, and have not yet successfully passed the tests of the rabbinate. This probably marked the approach of the newspaper titles as a political tool.

Is this a one-time issue, or it is another sign of unity rows? In recent months, several signs of the Haredi community following a wave of anti- Orthodox legislation culminating in the law of induction and consolidation of the three councils of Torah Sages of Agudath Yisrael , Degel Hatorah and Shas .

This unity is also expressed in a joint interview conducted by Yated Ne'eman after the big prayer rally in Jerusalem, where three Torah sages' council secretaries were interviewed.
