Miraculous recovery: 4-year-old who drowned - released home

Four days after he drowned in a private pool in Caesarea and his condition was defined as difficult, the 4 year old child will be released today (Wednesday ) from hospital and return home .

Recall, the family from the Arzei Habira neighborhood of Jerusalem left the capital on Friday to vacation in the port city of Caesarea. On Shabbos at around 12:00 the parents discovered that their 4 -year-old son entered the private pool in the yard and drowned.

Father pulled his son out of the water and began to resuscitate him according to a briefing by phone, until the arrival of MDA teams who continued the resuscitation. Later he was evacuated whilst anesthetized and ventilated to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.

Hadera police station has opened an investigation. Initial evidence was given them in the field. Police suspected that parental negligence caused the drowning.

Rambam hospital initially estimated that only after a few days they will be able to remove the anesthetic, and then be able to examine the damage, but miraculously, after a day and a half the boy regained consciousness, ate and talked with his family.

David Ratner , a hospital spokesman , said in a conversation with Behadrey Haredim, there is no doubt that this is a very fast process and unconventional healing , and now the child will be released to his home, when he is healthy and safe, without any injury.
