A day and a half after the Orthodox child drowned and was badly injured - he regained consciousness and ate ice cream.
Recall, the family left Jerusalem on Friday to vacation in the port city of Caesarea, but on Shabbos at around 12:00 the parents discovered that their 4 -year-old son entered the private pool in the yard and drowned.
The father pulled his son out of the water and began to resuscitate him according to a briefing by phone, until the arrival of MDA teams who continued the resuscitation. Later he was evacuated when he is anesthetized and ventilated to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
The child's father said a short while ago to Behadrey Haredim that "thank God prayers are not returned empty handed. He returned about an hour ago to consciousness, talked with us and ate ice cream."
Hadera police station has opened an investigation. Initial evidence was received from the parents on Shabbos at the scene, and on Motzei Shabbos the parents were investigated. Police suspect that parental negligence caused the drowning.
Please continue to pray for Eliezer ben Hinda.
