"I'm ready to go to prison for each halachic circumcision"

Rabbi Avraham Cohen veteran Mohelim U.S. who serves as chairman of the Association of American Mohelim told the PowerWord newspaper this week: "I'm ready to be seated in jail for mouth sucking, this blood libel allegedly invented against the Jews that the mohel can infect the baby with diseases, if anyone can catch the disease, it’s the mohel from the baby."

R ' Avraham Cohen said that he refused to obey the law which requires parents signing a consent form for mouth sucking.

Cohen said he does not ask parents and not signing anybody for mouth sucking as required by Jewish law. Only in cases where the parents are not religious he does not perform mouth sucking for fear of contracting diseases of the newborn.

Cohen explained that the baby's parents who do not keep religion, can be infected with diseases of the parents who do not keep family purity and have an open marriage, such as AIDS , a disease that goes to the baby. "I'm ready to go to prison for carrying out halachic circumcisions," said Cohen.
