Saturday afternoon at about 12:00, a boy aged 4, from an Orthodox family in the Arzei Habira neighborhood of the capital in Jerusalem, drowned.

The boy drowned while he was with his family on a vacation in a private home in Caesarea.

At 11:57 Sharon and MDA were reported on a boy dredged from the water after the boy drowned in a swimming pool at a private home in Caesarea. Medics and paramedics of MDA briefed by telephone the family of basic resuscitation until the arrival of the MICU to the scene, during which the child's pulse returned. Later he was evacuated in a serious condition when sedated and on a respirator, to the Rambam Hospital in Haifa.

Paramedic of MDA Sharon, Tomer Sahar said: " I got a call on the phone about a boy of about four dredged from the water after the family found him at the bottom of the pool unconscious and not breathing and without a pulse, immediately I sent a mobile intensive care unit while I briefed the family by phone how to perform CPR during which the child began breathing again.
MDA paramedic Eliran Fuchs who treated the boy said: "When we arrived we saw a boy lying on the sidewalk at the entrance whilst his father resuscitated him, he immediately started to provide medical care involving anesthesia and we evacuated him for medical treatment at Rambam hospital in serious condition."

Hadera police station has opened an investigation. Initial evidence was given them in the field. Police suspect that parental negligence caused the drowning.

David Ratner, Rambam hospital spokesman told Behadrey Haredim at end of Sabbath, that the condition of the child being admitted to pediatric intensive care unit during the Sabbath - is stable, and is sedated and on a respirator. "Just a few days after doctors will remove the anesthesia, we will know whether brain damage was caused."

Please pray for the child Eliezer ben Hinda.
