The Ben Gurion Airport police detective unit 747 detained and suspected a 22 year-old resident of Bat Yam wearing a yarmulke, who flew in from Amsterdam.
Upon checking his baggage 244 thousand Euros were found in cash. Since this is a fiscal matter, they instructed him to go up to customs.
The young man went up to the red route while detectives continued to follow him, and when he declared toys only he was told to open his baggage and customs officials revealed the alleged attempt of fraud, the matter was referred to continued investigation.
To the detectives' question where the money is intended, he answered that the money goes to yeshivas.Photo: Ben Gurion Airport Police
