Year after attacking a soldier: caught two infiltrators from Sudan

Exactly one year ago, in the early morning, four young men in their 20s met, residents of Petah Tikva, met two suspects. Extra word thrown into the air led to a fight - during which one of the men was attacked, a soldier in a combat unit, he was on vacation. He was beaten in the head with a blunt object, collapsed and never woke up. Following the findings identified in the arena yesterday two suspects, foreign workers from Sudan arrested admitted to the act.

The phone was lying in his pants pocket of the suspect rang, the call was short. A device headed to the city center and on the way stopped by detectives and crime-fighting unit from Petah Tikva police SWAT team Sharon Fighters Fighters Unit 101 of the Police Center.

As soon as they saw him arrested him and took him in for questioning at the police station on suspicion that a year ago was involved in a brutal attack of a soldier on leave, causing him severe injury following which he collapsed, lost consciousness and has been in a coma.
For a year the police have tried to locate the two attackers, but three friends of the soldier did not know his identity. The group left at 4:00 or so one of the restaurants in the city's central station, they marched to their friend's house when suddenly encountered two suspects who were sitting on the sidewalk. For some reason, an argument developed into a fight which soon turned violent. Dark objects were pulled, a second soldier was lying on the road unconscious when two suspects were gone leaving behind the victim and his friends.

Following strenuous activity forensics investigators were able to locate various evidences at the scene; they were sent for testing and not disappointed. A few weeks ago the police were able to associate the suspects findings, two foreign workers from Sudan and the police turned to Oz unit which assisted in locating the two.

As stated initially arrested the first suspect (34) told investigators what happened and recounted the story. Several hours after detectives made their way into the home of the second suspect was also found and arrested.

They will be presented at the Petah Tikva Magistrate.
