Reciting Tehillim, caution from idle talk in the Beis Midrash and the desire to immigrate to Eretz Yisroel, those were the words of Kabbalist Rabbi David Chaim Stern in Bnei Brak, head of the Beis Avraham institutes, and son in-law of the Mekubal, Hatzadik Rabbi Chaim Moshe Mandel zt"l, to a group of Jewish businessmen from the Ukraine who came to his residence.
The businessmen came to Rabbi Stern and wanted to receive advice and blessing from him, in view of the difficult situation prevailing in their country, which also affects their personal security and the economic situation. The visitors told the rabbi that their family are in constant fear in face of the difficult scenes and riots taking place right at their doorways.
"We are in the footsteps of the Meshiach," the rabbi told them, "and the main quest and prayer during this time is the right to go live in the Holy Land. Especially that by nature there can be a danger at your place of residence, G-d forbid."
The Rabbi added that "we must remember that there is no one beside Hashem yisbarach. Every one should accept upon himself to say Tehillim of the day each day, with joy and intention, without stopping for small talk, and the great advice for security from the Gentiles who want your ill is to be on guard not to make small talk under any circumstances in the synagogues."
Rabbi Stern concluded and said that if they listen to the advice, "you will always have super-natural protection and security from heaven and you will be privileged to the full redemption."
