Cargo at the Syrian border: soldier was seriously wounded

A bomb exploded today (Tuesday) a short while ago on the IDF Forces during a patrol south of Majdal Shams in the northern settlement of the Golan Heights, near the border with Israel - Syria. Four soldiers were wounded and evacuated for medical care to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the incident at the entrance to the faction meeting, and said: "Shortly before the IDF were hit by a cargo in the Golan Heights. Last week, a bomb was detonated at the soldiers on the Lebanese border. No casualties were reported in the incident. Nearly two weeks ago another incident was reported at the site when an IDF force identified suspicious figures who were planting explosives near the Israel - Syria border. IDF forces fired warning shots against the suspects.
