Alternative hearing held by the opposition today (Tuesday) in the Negev Hall in the Knesset, following the protest coalition measures, there was a discussion on the issue of equality burden.
Opposition leader MK Yitzchak Herzog of the Avodah Party opened the meeting calling to Netanyahu. "Now we split," Herzog said, "and I hope that soon we will replace this government."
Shas Chairman Aryeh Deri, who came immediately after the speech, declared that he hoped that soon they will crown Herzog as prime minister.
MK Eli Yishai said: "A little humility would not hurt the person who served the newspaper, and unabashedly carries the flag of this equality. I tell you that from the moment that the law will begin to count the percentage in recruitment will decline. Any increase in recruitment percentages in the Nahal Haredi battalion will fall".
It is noted that the meeting was also attended by members of the coalition that came to listen to the protests of the opposition, and participate in a hearing held on the issue of equality burden.
MK Ruth Calderon arrived at the beginning of the meeting, when followed by MK David Tzur from Hatnua. The two were in the hall along with the opposition - but didn’t speak or participate in the discussion.
