History: Hgr"s Vosner orders to participate in elections

First time in decades published opinion of Hgr"s Vosner the Shevet Levi, concerning voting, in a letter published in his name he ordered to choose the ultra-Orthodox candidate for mayor of Beit Shemesh.

In a letter published in the name of Rabbi Moshe Shaul Klein, a dayan in the Beis Din of Rabbi Vosner and one of his greatest disciples, said: "As it is known the Shevet Levi has always avoided these issues and this time there is a chilul Hashem and therefore he orders to vote for the orthodox candidate for mayor."

This is a historical and temporary order called by Hgr"s Vosner who ordered from the top of his age ( 100 ) to vote this time , because until now Hgr"s refrained to openly speak his mind who to vote for election and to vote on election day .

Mayor Moshe Aboutbul's headquarters in Beit Shemesh hope that even the biggest zealots will hear the opinion of Rabbi Vosner who is acceptable to the entire Haredi public and will go out and vote.
