After half a year in Manhattan Rebbe will return to Israel

For more than a year Koznitz Rebbe is engaged in building Torah and prayer place in 'West Side' in Manhattan, close to his birthplace, where his mother the Rebbetzin lives.

Rebbe, whose institutions center is located in Tel Aviv and Bnei - Brak , decided to return to his homeland and establish institutions there too. Indeed, last year the Rebbe began construction, and about six months ago – in the month of Cheshvan , traveled to Manhattan and hasn’t been to Israel.

The synagogue opened last year and a half contains over one hundred seats, and held the regular Minyanim weekdays and Shabbosim, Daf Yomi, and Shabbos tishim and holidays.

The place is a ray of light to residents of the entire region, thirsty for Torah and Chassidus. Members who come from afar indicate that the place is a spiritual home for them, residents fill the synagogue to capacity, and many were forced to stand in prayer outside the front door.

Memorable event was held last Zos Chanukah, when the Rebbe lit the Chanukah candles using the ancient menorah of his grandfather the Magid of Koznitz, brought in especially to the United States for this purpose.

Rebbe will return to Israel on Tuesday for Purim, and will hold the tishim in Tel - Aviv, despite the difficulty of separation from his followers and fans in Manhattan.
