Karliner Rebbe against Whatsap: Okay if you would send Gemora

The Rebbe of Karlin Stolin, who spent this Shabbos in Beitar Illit, angrily attacked the Whatsap groups on Friday night after the Tish.

The Rebbe spoke against the trend of cell phone devices of sending things which are 'not good' in groups and the like. He said: "If they give each other pages of Gemara, then so be it, but I hear they pass all kinds of things that are unacceptable."

The Rebbe spent Shabbos in Beitar Illit for the dedication of the new building of the yeshiva ketana of Karlin Stolin on Harav Brim Street, Hill B in the city, and he made the Tisch, which was attended by thousands, at the yeshiva square.

On Motzadi Shabbos there was a massive disengagement of Karlin Stolin Hassidim who for their livelihood have kosher devices supporting the Whatsap application, many of them left the various groups in which they were.
